Program

The Seventh New England Regional Women's Celebration was held at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington, Vermont, from March 17 to 19, 2006. The theme, "CELEBRATE MICAH'S CALL", comes from Micah 6:8b, "....to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God..."

UCC Associate General Minister Edith Guffey reports that Celebration participants contributed $6,573 to the God Is Still Speaking effort. The Still Speaking Initiative has raised the visibility of the United Church of Christ and extended an extravagant welcome to those who have felt abandoned or rejected by institutional religion.
